PACIFIC RIM: THE EVOLUTION OF JAEGERS & KAIJUS
"Today, we are taking a neat look at the evolution of the apocalypse!"
Film.com contributor Max Evry created this neat infographic for Next Movie that shows how the mechs and monsters of PACIFIC RIM came to look the way they do. neato. and now, back to marathoning Neon Genesis Evangelion.

At last, the film is presented in my town. I will probably see it today!
Japanese name: ガンザ
Romanized name: Ganza
Status: Killed by Ultraman Taro.
From: Ultraman Taro - Episode 7
- Its claws were taken from the costume for Zanika.
- Ganza’s roar was a heavily altered version of Ebirah’s sound effect.
- The giant octopus-like monster Tagarl was Ganza’s natural enemy.
This is epic.
Neon Genesis Evangelion
giantmonsters: I don’t know much about the vast world of anime, but I have often seen references to this title, so I was curious. Last weekend, I watched for the first time a lot of episodes on youtube (first series dubbed, subtitles are better but difficult to find). There are great moments, I like the battles. In general, this unique (and a little weird) series is alternately fascinating, fun, dramatic, silly and sometimes confusing. At first, the Evangelion world is very losing, with all the different versions. Wikipedia has good articles. The End of Evangelion (a new version of the end of the first series) contains some epic scenes.
